Workshop in Tunis: Religions and cultures in the service of peace

The Tunisian Association of support for minorities (ATSM) offers a workshop, Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Tunis on the theme "The contribution of different religions and cultures for peace in Tunisia."

This event is distinguished by the participation of Khazdaghli Habib, Dean of the Faculty of Manouba, Yamina Thabet, president of the ATSM, Dr. Youssef Seddik, philosopher and anthropologist, Abdelkarim Allagui, professor of contemporary history, and Samira Shili, conference master in ancient history.

The program includes discussions around these themes: "The reformist face of religious and ethnic minorities in Tunisia (XIX century)", "An attempt at Jewish-Muslim reconciliation in the aftermath of the Great War", "The Arabs and the Semitism "and" When Tunisia was Christian. "

The objective of this event is to showcase concepts of exchange, dialogue and tolerance through a culture of peace by insisting on respect for different cultures and religions in Tunisia.
