The 'New Songs for Peace' Project
un articulo por Jerry Chong
If there is a universal language of peace, it must be music. Our UNESCO-endorsed project is about sharing new songs about peace and thereby, fostering the values and message of peace.
At our web site, we have well over 80 songs of peace to share; in the form of lyrics and MP3 downloads. Here are some of our popular selections:
"For Every Child" by Gertrud & Dirk Schmalenbach "Island In The Sky" by Joe Stanton "Jacob's Ladder" by Chumbawamba
"Love" by Larry Edoff "One Love, One World" by Craymo & Brandon Jarrett "Say It Out Loud" by Lili McGovern "Sierra" by Kyle Vincent "The Bell" by Stephan Smith, Pete Seeger, Ween "The War Game" by Jay Bullock "Why Can't Man Make Peace" by Ken Baron
We also encourage songwriters from around the world to submit their work for possible inclusion so that we can have a diverse collection of songs that express love of the environment, humanity, and self-development in the name of peace.
New songs are added constantly and we profile a new artist every month
in our "Artist Spotlight" feature. You can also sign up for our newsletter to be notified of new song submissions and new project developments.
Check out our web site and get involved. Submit a peace song or just listen to some wonderful songs that will hopefully inspire you to acts of peace.
