At this time the action will be distributing information related to human rights, combating violence against women and disseminating the Maria da Penha law, [a law that was passed in 2006 in Brazil to ensure punishment for perpetrators of domestic violence, named after a victim who became a leader in the struggle for women's rights]. Besides the distribution of information, there will also be symbolic gifts for pedestrians and drivers of vehicles that pass by during the campaign.
