Mali: The Radio Kledu broadcasts, "Anka Ben ! - Let's make peace !"
un article par Sory I. Konaté, Mali Actu

Misahel , Swiss Cooperation and Radio Klédu launched last week a new radio series on peace and national reconciliation. The show airs every Saturday on Radio Klédu . Information, awareness-building and debate are the strengths of the strategy for peace and reconciliation adopted by the management of Swiss development cooperation (SDC) and its partners. As proof, they signed last week a tripartite agreement with the Mission of the African Union (AU) for Mali and the Sahel ( Misahel ) and Radio Klédu marked by the launching of the program "Anka Ben ! - Let's make peace ! The show, which airs every Saturday at 15h 00 on Radio Klédu represents the contribution of the three partners in the efforts by Mali for a lasting peace and national reconciliation that all stakeholders are calling for. "Anka Ben ! - Let's make Peace " will be a platform for exchange and open to debate by all Malians, especially youth.

While giving the word freely in a constructive and respectful framework of journalistic ethics, the broadcasts convey messages of peace and unity. The main purpose is to demonstrate that reconciliation involves all Malian citizens, beyond the political sphere. Thanks to this radio program the Misahel, SDC and Radio Klédu are contributing to the entrenchment of the culture of peace in today's Mali .

The first show aired Saturday, May 3, 2014 à 15 h. The show , whose theme was "Where are inclusive talks in Mali?" featured Zahabi Ould Sidi Muhammad, the Minister of National Reconciliation.

CPNN continues to find that African journalists give priority to culture of peace news, unlike media in much of the world that give priority to violence.  Here are some of the articles published previously:
