	Global Week of Action for Women's Rights un article par Helen Raisz The UN review of the Beijing Platform for Action, focusing on the needs of women everywhere for equality, development and peace, will take place in New York the week of March 1-9, 2005. CODEPINK will be in New York City for an all-day activist training camp, a public lecture, and a street action from March 5th to the 8th. Code Pink is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement that seeks positive social change through proactive creative protest and non-violent direct action. CODEPINK was kicked off on November 17, 2002. Bush's color coded alerts are based on fear. CODEPINK is based on compassion and calls on women and men to "wage peace".
