Question: How can we use this attempted censorship to promote culture of peace? CPNN article: Culture of Peace Suppressed?

I think one of the best ways to stimulate discussion on culture of peace is by pointing out all the ways in which the 'dominant' media industry attempts to subvert it.

This is good chatter for the break-room at work or the lunch room at school. Or even when you're just hanging out with your friends!

What are these media conglomerates so afraid of?

Another attempt at censorship of the culture of peace made the cover of the NY Times recently. Disney, it seems, is refusing to distribute Michael Moore's newest film. For more information see: http://www.michaelmoore.com/

Just an update in case you haven't heard:

Mike Moore's newest film "Fahrenheit 9/11" just won the most prestigious film award in the world (the Palme d’Or). It's setting all kinds of records and critics are blown away.

The movie is still without a distributer in the U.S.
